FROM FOOTAGE TO A 3D SCENE

How to create a Gaussian Splat from drone footage.

Upload drone videos and generate detailed 3D models directly in your browser.

01

Capture overlapping footage

Record the same area from different positions. Use sharp images, steady movement and consistent lighting. Multiple overlapping drone videos can contribute to one scene.

02

Upload and generate

Create a project, upload your recordings and select the source files. Choose a quality level, the interval between extracted video frames and optional sky masking. Submit the job for cloud processing and follow its progress.

03

View, align and download

Open the finished Gaussian Splat in the browser. Match it to a map or FBX with corresponding points, save the alignment and download a PLY. Share a viewing link when you want someone else to explore the scene.

Processing time depends on the scene

Image count, footage quality, the selected preset and worker availability affect processing time. The job status shows progress. You do not need to keep a local training application running.

Alignment without another reconstruction

The finished splat can be scaled, rotated and positioned against a reference. This produces an adjusted export without training the scene again. Keep the original result and use saved point pairs when refining the placement.

Your next scene starts with your footage.
